Why Christian Education?
Christian schools partner with parents and the church to make children and young people new creations. In these special places students are being molded into new creations, disciples of Jesus Christ who will serve Him.  These new disciples are being taught not only how to live for Jesus but also how to be workers for Him - how to be His hands and feet and voices to renew this sin-filled world so it once again brings glory and honor and praise to the One who created it. We teach from a Christian worldview.

Our Mission
It is the purpose of Alameda Christian School to train young people for Christian life and service by offering a balanced educational program which promotes academic achievement and reflects Biblical standards. 
The entire curriculum is based on the Lordship of Jesus Christ. 

Our History
Alameda Christian School (ACS) is an independent Christian School.  The school was established in 1944 by members of the Alameda Christian Reformed Church, whose vision was to provide an education based on the word of God.  Our Statement of Faith states the basic truths of the Bible as we understand them and our Philosophy of Education explains how and why we are different than public schools.
