Thank you for your interest in Alameda Christian School. You may
like to visit the school and observe our classrooms in action.
Please call ahead to schedule your visit.
Admission Requirements
We require copies of recent report cards and standardized testing
scores. If a student has been home schooled, we may do an entrance
test to determine the best class placement. Kindergarten students
may be evaluated for readiness to begin Kindergarten. Students
entering Kindergarten must be five years old by December 1st.
Application Process
To apply for admission, we require the following:
•
Application
Form (pdf)
• Copy of Birth Certificate
• Copy of Immunization Record
• Copy of most recent report card (1st grade and older)
• Copy of most recent achievement test score (1st grade and older)
• $300 non-refundable application fee
When all of these items are received, your application will be
processed and you will be called to schedule a family interview with
the Principal. Students are
admitted upon board approval after completing an application and the
family interview. All students are admitted on a probationary basis
during the first nine weeks.
Admission Policy
At least one parent is expected to actively participate in the worship
activities of a Bible believing
church. Priority will be given to parents who are members of a Bible
believing church.
Children whose parents do not meet the above expectation may be
admitted under the following conditions:
1. The parents want their children to receive a Christ-centered
education.
2. The parents are committed to supporting the
Purposes and Goals of
Alameda Christian School.
Students are admitted after a family interview and upon board
approval.
Special Needs
Admission of students with special needs will be dependent upon the
school’s ability to meet these needs. Alameda Christian School may be
unable to accommodate students who demonstrate severe grade level
deficiencies or behavioral problems.
Non-Discrimination Policy
Alameda Christian School admits students of any race, color, national
and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and
activities generally accorded or made available to student at the
school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national
and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies,
admissions policies, scholarship program, and other
school-administered programs.
Tuition Aid
Tuition aid is awarded primarily to
low-income families or to families who need tuition assistance due to a
temporary financial setback. Providing
high-quality education is an expensive proposition, but it is our earnest
desire that every family that desires Christian education have an opportunity to
do so. Families who wish to be considered for tuition assistance
can download the forms
or obtain
the forms from the school office. Students must first apply for admission and
be accepted before the tuition aid application will be considered. The
process usually requires 1-2 months. |
