Teacher Mrs. Barbara Eisemann has been our Seventh and Eighth Grade teacher since 2000. A graduate of University of Central Florida with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, she taught in preschools in Florida and Maryland, and at a Christian middle and high school in Orlando, before moving to California. She also served as the director of a Christian day care center for several years.
"One of my goals in teaching is to help each child recognize and develop the gifts that God has given him or her," says Mrs. Eisemann. "It is important for me as a teacher and for each of the students to realize that God has made each one of us unique, and to recognize that while we do not all have the same talents or ways of learning, each one of us is created exactly the way God wants us to be, so we can learn from each other."
Among Mrs. Eisemann's favorite verses from the Bible is Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." She says, "I like this reminder that God will give us the wisdom, courage, and strength to succeed, not only in the classroom, but in every aspect of our lives."
